I always knew Charles Turnquist as 'My Uncle Charles'. Uncle Charles was my mothers (Norma Jean) youngest brother. Before he and Joan moved to Ventura, Uncle Charles would always stop and stay with us on his cross country jobs. One time he brought me a kitten, which didn't make Mom to happy but I loved it. The following day they we're all out painting a fence and the kitten decided to rub up against the red paint. The kittens name instantly became Tommy Red Tail! I will always remember the sound of his laugh and his big smile. These are the wonderful memories I will always have of My Uncle Charles. May you rest in eternal peace now and God bless. Charlie was an amazing man with an amazing smile! His hugs and his stories made my days better. I enjoyed talking to him about his Mom and Dad as well as his wife, Janice. He spoke of them often. He was a kind man who cared about others and was very social and friendly to everyone.
