“Scott was our pick-up guy when he worked for Town and Country, and we always appreciated him greatly! I think he might have felt the same on the days I'd catch him to deliver a hot carmel roll or warm brownie...just a great guy! I am so sorry for your deep loss. I pray you will always remember how much your Dad loved you, Caleb, and know he is still cheering for you, now from heaven. With sympathy and caring.”

“Dear Caleb,
We are so very sorry to learn of your loss. We knew that Scott was ill when we moved to Cedar Rapids last fall, but did not realize how quickly things had progressed. He was so very very proud of you and all of your achievements all through school. He definitely was your one man cheer leader for all of your sports events and showed his support by helping to coach with several of them. His extended family was so important to him in how he cared for his Aunt Alice and looked out for his brother Jim, all while raising you. He had a strong work ethic as well as willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Those are the memories for you to hold onto as you reflect on what is now his legacy. Our hearts reach out to you, and we are praying for God's grace and comfort to remind you that He is ever near. Isaiah 51:12 says "I, even I, am He that comforteth you." May God bless and keep you as you walk through this time of extreme sorrow in your life. Tom and Mary Galik”

I remember your Dad way back in the year 2000 when you were one of my first graders. He was so proud of you!! Whenever he would see us in Spencer , we'd have to stop and chat awhile. I enjoyed his visits so much. I know you will miss his terribly.....I pray that God gives you peace and strength to live your life without him.
