“I had the great pleasure of working along side Mary at Safeway went I started work in 1967. I worked there for nearly 3 years while in high school. Mary was always pleasant and tolerant of us youngsters who really didn't know much(anything) about the grocery business. She trained me to be a checker. She will be missed and I will remember her fondly.”

I have so many great memories of Mary, from working with her and your dad when your brother Bob and I were in Boy Scouts together and when your Mom and I worked together at the Safeway store in Spencer. She was a kind and gentle person who was liked by everyone. I know she will be missed. May all your best memories comfort you during this sad time.”
