“Donna was a classmate. We called her Deaner, a name she inherited as a child she told me. She was a lovely lady with a beautiful heart. She will be greatly missed by our classmates, as well as in the Spencer community where she volunteered in so many areas. God bless the family as they are missing her in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. ”

“Our sympathy to Donna’s family. When Donna’s Mom, Virginia, was at Riverview (as my Mom was) Donna and I would always visit. She was a special person much like her Mom. I loved always seeing Virginia. I was also a classmate of her sister, Linda. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.”

“Dear family
We were so sorry to hear of Donna’s passing away. I remember her from when we were kids on East tenth street.
I went to see what the exercise class would be like at the Activity Center a few years back. Guess who was leading those exercises? Yes Donna.. what a super great lady..
She will be missed by many.
Thinking of her family at this sad time
Prayers for all,
Roger and Jackie Mann”

“I was saddened to get the email that Donna had passed. Donna and I were classmates. I usually saw Donna at class reunions, having moved from Spencer many years ago. I did see Donna at the fair in Sept and like always she was full of life. Thankful I have that memory. May God give the family strength during this time of bereavement. Love Margaret Coleman Kellum”

“I offer my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mrs. Donna Jean Frans. I wanted to share with you a wonderful hope for our future, that has brought me comfort many times. That hope is found in Jehovah God's word the Bible it helps us to  cope with the present, overcome the past and to give us something to strive for so we can walk with determination toward the future. In Isaiah 65:21-23 it says  "They will build houses and live in them, And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full. They will not toil for nothing, Nor will they bear children for distress..." what a contrast to what we see in the world, can you imagine a time when we will all have everything we need to live? But that hope is real. But why live in a world where we will just eventually die again? The bible answers in John 5:28, 29  it says "..The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, ...to a resurrection of life,.." everyone who has died will be resurrected to a paradise earth and they won't ever die again and we will be able to be there with them! ”
