“I am sorry to hear of Bryan's passing away. I worked with Byran at Lowe's Fargo and got to know him over the years working at the Pro Desk. Bryan and I enjoyed fishing on the Red River for Cat Fish. We traded many stories but he always had more. We kept in touch after he m oved back to Iowa. Got the fishing reports. Bryan had a big heart. He was generous with his time when I asked for some help on the cat fish boat. I will miss him and his great stories about anything outdoors. Curt Stock”

“Bryan's brother Doug was a classmate of mine and I had the pleasure of working with Bryan as a township clerk/trustee. We ran into each other at many social functions and he always made time to stop by and say hello and share a story or two with a twinkle in his eye and a smile. He was a kind and compassionate person and will be missed by many. Life can be hard at times and unless you're walking in the same shoes, you never know the struggle of others. Prayers and peace to Bryan, Sue, his family and friends. He will be missed.”

“Although I haven't seen Bryan since he came to my wedding in Madison WI in '89, I'll always cherish the memories of our days at ISU and after. He had that twinkle in his eye and that sly smile that will always stick with me. He lived in the moment and was always spontaneous. Sometimes that was just a quick thing that ended in a good belly laugh, another time it was pulling up outside my house in Ames at 5am in an 18 wheeler pounding on the door telling me to get dressed "We're going to Kansas City!" Rest in Peace, Bryan.”

“We are both saddened to hear of Bryan's passing. He was a longtime friend and classmate of mine. I will forever cherish the last time I saw him at the Spencer High School Class of 1973's 45th Class Reunion. We got to talk about old times and old memories dating back to our time in kindergarten.
