Krystal Rose Marie Decker, age 56 of Rembrandt, Iowa passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer, Iowa.

     Krystal was united in marriage to Bernard William “Bill” Decker on February 2, 1994 in Newell, Iowa.  They were blessed by two children, William Benjamin “BJ” and Theresa Marie “Tess”.

     She received her education at Sioux Central School.  While staying at home and caring for Tess, she read lots of historical fiction books, watching documentaries along with rock and asparagus hunting.  She worked at Sioux Care Center, Walmart in Storm Lake and Highway 3 & 71 Truck Stop as a cook.

     Those who cherished Kry’s memory include: Her daughter, Tess of Spencer; her mother, Sharon Sandy Sassman of Spencer; her sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Mike Schroeder and Jason Jeffrey Sassman of Sioux Rapids.

    She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; son, BJ and brother, Jeff Sassman.

SERVICES
Private Family Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
