Jacqueline (Jackie) Belle Stafford Shugars Webster passed away on April 29th at her home.  Jackie was born on November 21st 1957 to Edward and Shirley (Harnan) Stafford in Alliance NE.  Jackie graduated from St. Agnes Academy in 1976 and attended Loretta Heights College (Denver, CO) and Chadron State College (Chadron, NE) majoring in the Theater Arts.

In 1981, while attending CSC, she met Richard Shugars of Oshkosh, WI and they were married that November in Hemingford, NE. That same year they moved to Spencer Iowa and welcomed two children David (82) and Ashley (85). Jackie began working for the Spencer Public Library eventually becoming the Assistant Director.  Jackie had a flare for the theatre and acted in and directed many plays in High School, College and at the Spencer Community Theater winning several awards including Actress of the Year. After her divorce she moved to Arizona where she met and married Peter John Webster and became the Director of the Collins College Library in Tempe. After graduating High School her two children joined them in Arizona. Peter passed away a year later and she remained in Arizona for many years eventually following her children back to Spencer, IA. In April of 2018 her only grandchild, whom she adored, Isabella Marie Shugars, was born.

Jackie is survived by her Son David (Granddaughter Isabella) and Daughter Ashley all of Spencer, IA; her Father Edward Stafford and Sister Cheryl (Brent) Nelson all of Sheridan, Wyoming; and many Nieces and Nephews. She was proceeded in death by her Mother, two younger brothers, one younger sister and her husband Peter. Her son and daughter have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral costs as Jackie had no life insurance. After funeral costs any left over donations will go into an education fund her 2 year old granddaughter, Isabella.
