“Mom when the girls and I found out what happened we were devestated to hear what happened and that it's not fair that you had to go so soon. You were like a second mom to me. Your grandbabies adored and loved you so much! You are wrong mom when you told me that when you passed that no one would come to your funeral. You have no idea how many people love you. You have a great heart and forgiving heart. We love you and miss you and cannot imagine never hearing your voice again.”

“To Teresa's Family: Sorry to hear of one of our 1975 classmates passing away. We spent many days swimming at Leach Park pool and going to her house to do school projects or at least we were supposed to be - Lots of laughter, singing to music, and her mom making cookies for us. ”

“I haven't talked to her in a while, but I met Teresa over 40 years ago when I was a very young boy. She befriended my mother and I when she became our neighbor. Teresa taught me everything she was learning about nutrition in a college nursing course when I was just a kindergartner. I have clear memories of her taking me to the SDSU rat lab and out for ice cream at the SDSU Dairy Bar. Such fun and endearing memories of her. She had a unique effervescence. I have never stopped thinking about her impact on my life, just by her being a positive force during my formative years. She has brought light into this world that will shine on in her absence. Her quick laugh filled a room with joy. She will be missed and remembered fondly. Sincerest condolences to everyone who has been touched by her life and who are feeling her absence.”
