“My prayers go out to his family during their time of sadness and loss. Thank you for sharing the awesome tribute to his life. Even though we lost touch, it looks like he continued to be a great guy. I know I am not alone in my thankfulness for the friendship the Dragon class of '83 and others received from Danny. He will always be a part of my great memories of growing up in Gretna during the 70's and 80's. Too many memories to mention but summertime brings special memories of Legion Baseball and road trips across the state to play ball. I know even our opponents admired his hustle on the field. I also have great memories of pheasant and quail hunting with Danny. He was a true outdoors man. Our memories of those days in Gretna with Danny will live on in all of us that knew him.”
