     Eldon Dwayne Tesch, the son of Harry and Nora (Holtgrewe) Tesch, was born July 17, 1937 in Paullina, Iowa.  His childhood years were spent in Peterson, Iowa, where he received his education, graduating from Peterson High School. After high school, he attended a business school for a year.

      Eldon married Harriet Jansen on July 23, 1958 in Sioux Center, Iowa.  After their marriage, they made their home in Orange City, Iowa from 1959 to 1986, where Eldon worked as a feed salesman.  They moved to Hull, Iowa in 1986, where he worked as an insurance agent for Farmer’s Mutual.  They moved to Wahpeton, Iowa from 1999 to 2017, when they moved to Spencer, Iowa.  He retired in 2002 after 24 years with Farmer’s Mutual.

     He passed away at his home in Spencer, Iowa on Monday, October 26, 2020 at the age of 83.  Eldon was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Nora Tesch; one sister, Elaine Wacker; one brother, Dale Tesch; a sister-in-law, Velma Tesch and a brother-in-law, Dale Wacker.

     Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Harriet of Spencer; his son, Brad and his wife, Barb Tesch of Fountain Hills, AZ; a daughter, Brenda Bruse; a brother, Harlen Tesch of Milford, IA; a sister, Sharon Kohn and her husband, Tim of Ashton, IA; a sister-in-law, Rita Tesch of Spirit Lake, IA; grandchildren: Allison & Jess Reed of Timnath, CO and Travis Tesch of Fountain Hills, AZ; two great grandchildren: Tenley & Tanner Reed of Timnath, CO; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, October 30, 2020 at the First Lutheran Church in Milford, IA
