“I am so sorry for your loss of Jim. I know how much he loved you all since he always spoke so fondly of you, and he was always off to watch each of you in some activity. I taught with Jim at Ruthven Ayrshire. Since he was also part of the summer crew there, I got to know him during the summer months when I worked in the school’s library. I so remember his love of Louis L’Mour books! Jim was a good and kind soul. He loved teaching and was very proud of his students. He enjoyed a good laugh , and was the one to lighten conversations with humor. I know he will be greatly missed. But I think he lives on in your memories and in the faces of his children and grandchildren. He is always in your heart. Prayers and good thoughts go out to each of you.”
