“I didn't spend a lot of time with Aunt Grace, but when I was in her presence, she was always kind. She was a joy at the family reunions in her "crazy aunt" t shirt. She was loved. Doug, I pray you will feel God's love and peace. Need anything, just ask. ”

“This all just dawned on me that your mother is the Grace who I went to country school with eons ago. She lived next to us west of Spencer. She could walk to school 1 mile away faster than anyone I knew! My scrawny little legs didn't have a chance. And, she was smart as a whip. Her brother had whooping cough really bad, as I recall. That would be you, I assume. Challenging times back then. Your mom was a tough special gal liked by all. Carry on her wonderful gifts.
