“My sincerest sympathies to Lela's family. Lela was one of my favorites! We had some great times at Northshire. We could always count on Lela to participate, in whatever we activities ladies had planned. One of my fondest memories, is when we played UNO, that the cards came flying out of a little machine. Lela laughed so hard, when the cards flew out at her and every time it happened. Lela was a good sport, all the time! She was a cherished friend...”

“I was saddened to hear of the passing of Lela. Before Covid I saw her every Wednesday morning for BookClub. She was always working on a puzzle and I would put in a piece or two before or after reading. She shared some great stories of her youth and she enjoyed the stories I read. Lela was a special lady.
