Albert (Bert) Allen Adams, the son of Cecil Parker and Helen (Nielsen) Adams, was born June 10, 1943 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Spencer, where he received his education, graduating from Spencer High School.
Bert married Ann Kirschbaum on February 6, 1965 in Ayrshire, Iowa, and to this union three children were born: Jill, Todd and Jason.
Throughout his whole life, Bert lived in Spencer, where he worked in the sales department at A & M Laundry for 40 years, until his retirement. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. He enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, traveling, sports and most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bert married Georgia Gross on September 12, 2003 in Laughlin, Nevada and they continued to live in Spencer.
Bert passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Spencer following a long battle with illness at the age of 68. His parents preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Georgia of Spencer; one daughter, Jill Adams of Parker, CO; two sons: Todd Adams of Okeechobee, FL and Jason Adams of Spencer; nine grandchildren; one sister, Judy and her husband, Richard Knudsen of Dickens, IA; two stepchildren: Nena Crafton of Spencer and Erik Aaron and his wife, Christy of Apple Valley, CA; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.
A Vigil Service will be held 5:00 P.M., Friday, December 30 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Visitation will begin 5:30 P.M., Friday and the family will greet friends from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M., Friday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
