Aline G. Roskens, the daughter of George and Anna (Stille) Kaiser, was born September 7, 1916, in Storm Lake, IA. Her early childhood years were spent in the Storm Lake and Schaller area. At the age of 12 her family moved to the Milford area and she graduated from the Okoboji School in rural Milford. On January 1, 1938, Aline married Eite D. Roskens in Milford, IA. Throughout most of their married life they made their home on a farm north of Everly where they farmed. It wasn't until 1987, after 49 years of farming, that Eite and Aline moved to Spencer. Aline was a member of the First Reformed Church near Everly where she served on many committees and was a member of the Ladies Aid and later she became a member of the Hope Reformed Church in Spencer after the closing of the First Reformed Church.
Aline moved in November of 2008 to Riverview Terrace Assisted Living in Spencer where she made many new friends.
Aline enjoyed spending time with her grand children and great grandchildren.
She passed away at Spencer Hospital on February 2, 2010 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eite, 2 brothers; Richard and Raymond Kaiser, brother-in-law Maurice Biancalana, and a granddaughter Lisa Marie.
Aline is survived by 2 sons; Gaylen and Christina Roskens of Sanborn, IA, and A. Bruce and Nadine Roskens of Naperville, IL, a daughter Donna and Bill Carlson of Odebolt, IA, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Audrey and Richard Thiessen of Spencer, IA, and Alice and Tom Rebec of Sebring, FL; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 6, at 11:00 AM, at the Hope Reformed Church in Spencer, With burial before hand at First Reformed Church Cemetery in Everly at 10:00 AM
