Allen Bell

Allen Floyd Bell, the son of John and Sally (West) Bell, was born on April 16, 1961, in Cherokee, IA. Al was raised and attended school in Storm Lake where he also met his childhood sweetheart, Holly Adele Boardman. On May 18, 1985, they married and together they had two children: Mary Ellen Joy and A.J. Later, Al was united in marriage to Sarah Wentzloff in August of 2000. To this union on son was born, Alex. They divorced after several years. Al was employed as an over the road truck driver most of his adult life, working for various companies. The last years of his life, he found love and happiness with Anesa Bailey of Ayrshire and a son, Lane. He enjoyed camping with his family and watching stock car races. Al passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Jean and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Mary Ellen Joy and A.J Bell both of Algona, IA and Alex Bell of Ayrshire, IA; one granddaughter, Daphne Bell; four brothers: John Bell, Jr. and his wife, Kelly of Oregon City, OR, Charles Bell and his wife, Kelly of Aurelia, IA, Rodney Bell and his wife, Janice of Spencer, IA and Kevin Bell and his wife, LaVonne of Spencer, IA; eleven nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Memorial Services for Allen Bell of Ayrshire, IA will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Ayrshire, Iowa.
