Allen Lee Weier

Allen Lee Weier, the son of Lloy and Jennie (Kruse) Weier, was born July 16, 1944 in Storm Lake, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Linn Grove, IA, where he received his education. He entered the military in 1962, where he served with the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1966. While in the Navy, he was stationed aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. After his discharge, he returned to N.W. Iowa, where he worked for several years in the welding and mechanical trades. Allen married Gail Hawke Williamson on November 22, 1975 in Spencer, Iowa. After their marriage, they lived in Spencer until 1986 when they moved to Dickens, IA. Following his retirement, they moved to Bradgate, IA in 2008. He passed away at the Sioux Care Center in Sioux Rapids, IA on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the age of 70. Allen was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Bob, Dean, Sr., Wayne and Frank 'Bill' Weier and one sister, Carol Konrady. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gail of Bradgate, IA; his children: Danae (Mike) Thoene of George, IA, Jeff Williamson of Alpha, MN, Tina White of Hartley, IA, Jim (Jodi) Weier of Woodward, IA, Kelly Cluphf and her special friend, Damon Brigham of Hartley, IA, Michelle Williamson of Mount Union, IA; three brothers: Marlin (Laura) Weier of Linn Grove, IA and Keith (Thelma) Weier & Charlie Weier both of Sioux Rapids, IA; two sisters: Mary (John) Smith of Linn Grove, IA and Cheryl Coyle of Schleswig, IA; two sister-in-law's: Barb Weier of Hartley and Lolita Weier of Linn Grove, IA; 22 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relative and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Visitation will begin 5:00 P.M., Friday with the family present from 5 to 7:00 P.M., Friday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

INTERMENT
North Lawn Memorial Park Spencer, Iowa A military service will be conducted by Glen Pedersen Post #1 - American Legion and V.F.W. Post #3159 of Spencer, Iowa at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established by the family.
