Anabel Tielbur

December 29, 1912 — October 25, 2008

Anabel Tielbur, the daughter of James Floyd Jones and Bessie Myrtle McDanel was born December 29, 1912 in a farmhouse near Peterson, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Peterson, Rembrandt, Moneta and Dickens, Iowa area. She graduated from Spencer High School on May 29, 1930, then attended the University of Commerce Business School in Des Moines, IA. Anabel married Frank Tielbur on March 26, 1932 in South Sioux City, NE. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Webb and Cornell area. After retiring from the farm, they moved to Spencer. Anabel passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Home on October 25, 2008 at the age of 95 years and 10 months. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank in 1990; a son, Frank Jr. in 2004; one sister, Mildred (Jones) Alger; her brothers: Reed Jones, Chub (Eldon) Jones, Hubert Jones and Frank Jones. Left to cherish her memory are two sons and their wives: Charles and Donna Tielbur of Milford, IA and Jerry and Jonette Tielbur of Spencer, IA, one daughter and her husband, Carole and Darrel Madson of Ridgeville, IN; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Visitation will begin noon Tuesday with the family present from 5 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

INTERMENT

Riverside Cemetery Spencer, Iowa A lunch and time of fellowship will be served at the Ben Tena Room at Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer immediately following the graveside services.
