Andrew Michael Huffman

Andrew Michael Huffman, the son of Michael and Lynn (Zahrt) Huffman, was born September 11, 1976 in Spencer, IA.  He was the oldest of six children.  He graduated from Spencer High School in 1995 and spent his adult years employed in Spencer.

     Andy was an avid sports fan and was especially devoted to the Chicago Bears, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Iowa Hawkeyes.  His choice of clothing always showed his support for these teams.  Andy had a contagious smile and he always knew how to make others laugh.  Andy spent his childhood outdoors with his friends and family.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing and playing baseball.  He loved to go on family vacations having visited numerous baseball and football stadiums.

     Andy had a deep love for his family, especially for his five younger sisters. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend.

     Andy passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the age of 41.  He was preceeded in death by his sister, Katie Ann; his grandparents: Harry Huffman and Darwin and Ann Zahrt; his uncle, Curtis Zahrt; and his cousin, Abby Jo Zahrt.

     Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Mike and Lynn Huffman of Spencer; his sisters: Kerri Robinson of Cedar Falls, Kristena (Jeff) Oviatt of Willmar, MN, Kelsie Baccam of Spencer and Kourtney (Philip) Oviatt of Spencer; nephews: Maddox, Dylan, Zachary, Myles and Carver Andrew; nieces:  Isabella, Harper, Jayda, Emersyn, Baylie and Breckyn; grandmother, Lorrie Huffman of Spencer; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
