Anita Joyce Hott, the daughter of Earl and Joyce Pelley Davidson, was born November 18, 1935 in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in the Ruthven and Dickens area, where she received her education graduating from Ruthven High School in 1953.
Anita married Richard Hott on March 28, 1956 in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, they lived in the Dickens, Iowa area for many years. She worked as a Telephone Operator for N.W. Bell for 10 years, did clerical work for Wells Blue Bunny for 9 years. She also was City Clerk in Dickens for 9 years and worked at Economy Insurance for 4 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dickens.
Anita passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Hott, and a sister, Twyla Carlini.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Terry Richard Hott and his wife, Renee of Milford, IA and Kent Alan Hott and his wife, Jolene of Dearborn, MO; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Janet Westergard and her husband, Richard of Graettinger, IA; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at Warner Chapel in Spencer.
