Ann Marie Langfitt, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Murphy) Wogstad was born May 8, 1971, in Mason City, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Mason City and Manly, Iowa. Ann graduated from Mason City High School. Following graduation, Ann worked at various jobs in the Mason City area.
On March 17, 2000, Ann was united in marriage to Gene Langfitt, in Wahoo, Nebraska. Following their marriage, Ann stayed at home dedicating her time to raising their four children.
In her free time Ann enjoyed listening to music, especially country music, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
On Saturday, April 14, 2007, Ann passed away at her home at the age of 35. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; and stepmother, Barbara Obrinck Wogstad.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Gene Langfitt of Hartley, Iowa; four children: Dakota, age 13, Riki, age 11, Traci, age 10, and Jayson, age 8 �; her father, Robert (Kathy) Wogstad, of May City, Iowa; two sisters: Sherry (Steve) Harford, of Anamosa, Iowa, and Dawn (Bob) Mason of Des Moines, Iowa; special friend, Lori Bublitz, of St. Ansgar, Iowa; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
SERVICES
Memorial services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 19, 2007 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley. Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M., Thursday, at the Deer Creek Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa.
