Anna Grace Milleman, the daughter of Edward and Alma Farmer Runkle, was born November 12, 1914 in Milford, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer, Iowa, where she received her education, graduating from Spencer High School.
On March 2, 1935, Grace married Nick Milleman in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, Grace and Nick lived all of their lives in Meadow Township, with the exception of 2 years in Terril, where they farmed for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. Grace was also a member of the Progressive Club and enjoyed gardening and sewing in her spare time.
Grace passed away at Longhouse Residence in Spencer, Iowa on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nick on January 25, 1988 and one brother, Lowell.
She is survived by two daughters: Angeline and her husband, Bob Dunbar of Las Vegas, NV and Janice Powers of Spencer, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.
