Anthony 'Tony' David Dotson, the son of Larry Dotson and Joan (Uhe) Unrau, was born March 25, 1975, in Spencer, IA. His childhood years were spent in Spencer where he received his education, graduating from Spencer High School. Following high school, he continued his education at NIACC in Mason City, IA. He moved back to Spencer where he worked at Tradehome Shoe Store and later managed the Tradehome store in Muscatine for a short time. He moved to Des Moines, IA, where he worked at Homemakers for 5 to 6 years. Tony went to work at Kellogg's as a Regional Territorial Merchandiser, setting up snack displays and ordering product for the stores. He returned to Spencer due to his illness in October of 2010. Tony loved to visit with people, make them laugh and loved spending time with his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Seinfeld, golfing, sprint car races, playing pool and listening to music (especially older music such as the Beatles). He attended Good News Church in Okoboji, Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer and also attended church while he lived in Des Moines. Tony was a very religious person and had a great faith in Jesus Christ.
