Ardys Maxine Dillingham, the daughter of David and Lella Patton Clay, was born February 25, 1920 in Hartley, Iowa. She received her early education and graduated from the Hartley High School.
Ardys married Orland Krutzfeldt on October 16, 1938 in Hartley, Iowa. Following their marriage, they lived in Hartley until 1974. They then moved to Minneapolis for 8 years where she worked at Foley Manufacturing and then moved to Hartley, Iowa. To this union three daughters were born.
On June 2, 1982, Ardys married Verlin 'Barb' Dillingham. Following their marriage they lived in Everly. Ardys helped with operations of Barb's Restaurant. She was a member of Everly United Methodist Church. In her spare time, Ardys enjoyed doing counted cross stitch and was known for her cooking. Most of all, she loved her family as they were always the very most important part of her life.
Ardys passed away on January 30, 2013 at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; daughter, Bonita Pahl; brother, Earl; sister, Irene Meier and son-in-law, Richard Stallmann.
She is survived by two daughters: Bette Stallmann of Everly and Brenda (Keith) Fliss of Everly; son-in-law, Arnold Pahl of Wahpeton; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 2, 2013, at United Methodist Church in Everly.
