Ashley Lorraine King, the daughter of Dennis and Kerry Johnson King, was born December 19, 1989 in Spencer, Iowa. She received her early education in Gillett Grove, Iowa at the South Clay School and later she attended Spencer High School where she graduated in 2008. She then furthered her education at University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Recently, Ashley was attending Iowa Lakes Community College enrolled in the Medical Assistant Program where she was on the Dean's List. While attending school, Ashley also worked at Bomgaar's in Spencer.
Ashley was involved with 4-H where she enjoyed projects with rabbits and ducks. She participated with youth group and she had gone on two Mission trips to Chicago and Philadelphia. In her spare time, Ashley enjoyed playing the piano, learning to blow glass, fishing, boating and camping.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Dennis and Kerry King of Dickens, IA; her sister and her husband, Leanne and Adam O'Clair and their son, Coleton of Spencer, IA; her brother, Ryan King and his girl friend, Ashley Tarbox of Ankeny, IA; her maternal grandparents, Dean and Lois Johnson of Webb, IA; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Marge King of Ruthven, IA; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
