Beryl Esther Moser

June 19, 1917 — January 1, 2011

Beryl Esther Moser, the daughter of Albert Harry and Lois Effie (Lathrop) Tate, was born June 19, 1917 in Rossie, IA. Her childhood years were spent in Rossie, where she received her education, graduating from Rossie High School. She continued her education at Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, where she received her teaching degree. In 1937, she moved to Spencer, while teaching in a rural school near Rossie for four years. Beryl married Melvin E. Moser on November 26, 1941 in Spencer, Iowa. After their marriage, they continued living in Spencer, where she spent most of her early years, raising her family. She was an active member of the First Christian Church in Spencer. She passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mel in 1995; one son, Larry; a son-in-law, Steve Brink; an infant sister, Ruth, one brother: Arlo Tate and a sister-in-law, Elsie. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Janet Clarke and her husband, Jim of Lakewood, CO and Joan Brink of Denver, CO; three grandsons; two great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the First Christian Church in Spencer.

Visitation will begin 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 4, with the family present from 5 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

Riverside Cemetery Spencer, Iowa Memorials may be given to the Abben Cancer Center in Spencer.
