Betty Darlene Williams

Betty Darlene Williams, the daughter of Oluf and Agnes (Madsen) Andersen, was born October 15, 1928 in Cleghorn, IA.  Her childhood years were spent in Sutherland, Iowa, where she received her education, graduating from Sutherland High School. 

     Betty married Lyle Williams at the Lutheran Parsonage in Storm Lake, IA on March 8, 1949.  They farmed for many years near Webb, Iowa.  She thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter and enjoyed gardening.  Betty was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Webb.  She was also a member of the Farm Bureau.

     She passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the age of 93.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyle in 2014; one brother, Freddy and one sister, Lila.

     Left to cherish her memory are her 6 children: Barbara (Don) Tice of Ames, IA, Ronald Williams of Nevada, IA, Nancy (Kenny) Wirth of Ames, IA, Carol (Sid) Renaud of Huxley, IA, Wayne Williams of Webb, IA, and Jerry (Cathy) Williams of Marathon, IA; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; 1 brother, Harald Andersen of Duncombe, IA;  other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES
Graveside services will be held 12:15 P.M., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Garfield Cemetery in Webb, IA

VISITATION
Public Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M., to Noon Thursday, March 31st with the family present at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Webb.
INTERMENT
Garfield Cemetery
Webb, Iowa

A lunch and time of fellowship will follow the graveside services at the church.
