Betty Lou Miller

Betty Lou Miller, the daughter of Leonard and Mildred Smith Anderson, was born November 6, 1928, at home in Alta, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Alta area, where she graduated from Alta High School in 1946.
Betty moved to Storm Lake, IA, for a couple of years before she married Dwight Miller on January 19, 1957, in Jackson, MN. Betty enjoyed sewing and quilting. She worked at Super Valu for most of her working years.
Betty passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Mildred Anderson; one brother, Merlyn Anderson; an infant son, Michael; and one son, Steven Miller.
Left to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters, Susan (Joe) Malloy, of Des Moines, IA, and Barbara (Mick) Conlon, of Snohomish, WA; one son, Jeff (Kelley) Miller, of St. Cloud, MN; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Kay (Bryan) Jewell, of Spirit Lake, IA, other relatives, and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, February 16, at 2:00 P.M. at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
