Beverly Jane Kimball

May 20, 1934 — June 26, 2011

Beverly Jane Kimball, the daughter of Arthur and Grace Hessenius Mugge, was born May 20, 1934, in Calumet, IA. As a young child her family moved to the Spencer area where she grew up and received her early education in country schools and graduated in 1953 from Spencer High School. On March 27, 1955, Bev married Jerome George Kimball at the First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. Following their marriage, they moved to Everly where they lived on a farm. Bev worked at the Everly State Bank until her first child was born. She then stayed home to raise her family and helped on the family farm. In 1999, Bev and Jerry retired, moved to Spencer and enjoyed wintering in southern Texas. Bev was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, member of Peacemakers Quilt Club and a 4-H Leader. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing and biking, and participated in 5 Ragbrais with her daughters and granddaughters. Most of all, Bev loved spending time with her family. Bev passed away on June 26, 2011, at her home with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers: Robert, Keith and Morgan.
