Billy Allen Cox

     Billy Allen Cox, the son of John and Doris (Wetherell) Cox was born November 19, 1955 in Spencer, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Peterson and Sutherland, IA areas, where he attended school and graduated from Sutherland High School in 1974.

     Billy farmed his whole life, he also worked at City View Farms and drove truck with his wife for a short period of time.  Farming and cattle were his passion. He married Carol Sanders on February 28, 1995, whom he cherished. Besides farming Billy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids.

     Billy passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at his home at the age of 63. He was preceded in death by his parents.

     Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol of Sutherland, IA; 4 children, Chase (Jodi) Cox of Sutherland, IA, Travis (Michelle) Cox of Leadville, CO, Adam (Christine) Cox of Spencer, IA, and Bridget Gilmore of Holden, MO; 9 grandchildren, Cole, Chloe, Tyler, HayLee, Millie, Harper, Tayler, Kylie, and Damon; 2 brothers, Randy Cox of Cherokee, IA and David (Connie) Cox of Clairmont, FL; one sister, Penny Lundell of Cherokee, IA; Stepmother, Jan Cox; numerous Aunts; Uncles; other relatives; and many friends.
