Brenda Holst

Brenda Ann Holst, the daughter of Jerry and Pat (Cutting) Holst was born on February 17, 1969, in Hartley, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Everly, IA, area where she attended school, graduating from Everly High School in 1988. Brenda attended Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Worthington, MN. She then moved to Denver, CO, in 1991, where she worked in home health care. Brenda enjoyed her cats, working with her patients, watching the Denver Broncos and especially spending time with her nieces and nephews. Brenda passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Mason City, IA, at the age of 47. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jerry and Pat Holst of Everly, IA; two sisters, Tammy (Greg) Wrightsman of Westminster, CO, and Karla (Chuck) Bennett of Mason City, IA; nieces: Sophie, Chantey, Emily, and Amanda; great-nephews: Jaden, Jayson and Donaven; one great-niece, Haylee; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Monday, May 9, at United Methodist Church in Everly.
