Bruce Irving Merrill of rural Greenville, was born August 31, 1952 and passed away June 28, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Merrill, and his father-in-law, Clayton Rusk. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann of rural Greenville; father, Irving Merrill of Spencer; mother-in-law, Lucille Rusk of rural Dickens; brothers-in-law and their wives, Bob and Nira Rusk of rural Dickens, and Jim and Jan Rusk of rural Greenville; eight nieces and nephews, five great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials in Bruce's name to Mayo Clinic Brain Cancer Research at BTFC (Brains Together for a Cure), P.O. Box 8353, Rochester, MN 55903 or Hospice of Northwest Iowa.

Will be on Monday, July 6, 2009, from 3:00 to 5:00pm at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer. A luncheon will be served at the Grace United Methodist Church during the visitation time in the fellowship hall.
