   Charlene Mae (Reusch) Hamrick, 82, passed away April 16, 2024.  Charlene was born January 31, 1942 to Elmer & Alice Reusch.   She spent her childhood attending school and growing up in Calumet, Iowa.  She had an older sister Helen, an older brother Albert & a younger brother Ron.

    Charlene met the love of her life, Jack Hamrick, at Arnold’s Park and married him 2 days after graduating.   Jack & Charlene were united in marriage on May 28, 1960.  They would have celebrated 64 years together this May.  They had two children, Christine & Calvin.

     Charlene enjoyed many passions in life.   Her love of Christ & her family was most important to her.  Many years of sewing/crafting, camping, fishing, gardening & her flowers, bird watching, a great love of reading, sending cards & notes to family/friends were some of her many pleasures.

    She is survived by her husband Jack, of Spencer, daughter Christine (Rob), of Spencer and son Calvin, of Dickens.   Grandchildren:  Jenifer, April, Josh, Jessica, Samantha, Cody, Keri, Kristen, Colin, Shawn, Bailey & Maja.  Also, many precious great grandchildren.

   Charlene was preceded in death by her parents Elmer & Alice Reusch, her brothers Albert & Ron Reusch & her sister Helen Schulz.  She was also preceded in death by her father & mother-in Law, Orley & Arlene Hamrick.
