Charles "Chuck" Maxwell Trullinger, the son of Lucille Trullinger, was born February 9, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in the Milford area, where he attended Milford schools. Following his schooling, he entered the military and served with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during WWII. Following his honorable discharge from the military, he returned to northwest Iowa to the Spencer area, where he worked at Swanson's Grocery Store.
Chuck married Mildred Damerow on September 5, 1953 in Jackson, MN. Following their marriage, they remained in Spencer, where Chuck continued to work for Swanson's and later worked at Eaton's and Spencer National for many years, until his retirement.
Chuck passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Friday, January 2, 2009 at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his mother; his grandparents who raised him and one brother, Dale Rogers.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mildred of Spencer; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
As were Chuck's wishes, his remains were cremated and there will be no visitation or memorial services.
