Charles William Walker, the son of John Robert and Dorothy Mae (Russell) Walker, Jr., was born October 13, 1950, in Chillicothe, Illinois. As a youngster his family lived in several communities before settling in Omaha in 1958 where he finished his education graduating from Tech High School. After his schooling, he went into the Job Corp for a couple of years. His life journey took him to Wichita, Kansas, where he worked various jobs, mainly at a furniture warehouse.
He married Denise Sweeney and to this union one child, Mark was born
In 1990, he married Pauline Tripp and he added 5 children and together they made a life in Spencer, Iowa. He enjoyed painting, fishing, woodworking, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Chuck passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Friday, October 8, 2021, at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Walker, Jr.; son, John Tripp and his beloved wife, Pauline.
Left to cherish his memory are his five children: Mark (Jamie) of Wichita, KS; Teresa Klaassen, (Kevin) of Sibley, IA, Paula Jarvis of Emmetsburg, IA, Michelle Logue of Salina, KS and Brent Tripp (Katie) of Omaha, NE; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his siblings: Janet Bigley (John) Joan Chavez, Elsie Nolasco (Jose), Rose Bigley (Fred) Linda Gonzalez, Carol Stidham (Terry) and Allen Walker all of Wichita, KS; Wanda Perdoe of Towanda, KS and Jack Walker (Kay Lynn) of Wellington, KS; his brother -in-law, Bob Baker (Vicki) of Spencer, IA; many beloved friends and family members.
