Clarence “Brad” Harold Braddock Jr., the son of Clarence and Ruth (Myers) Braddock was born October 12, 1951 in Waterloo, IA. His
childhood years were spent in Swea City, IA where he lived with his aunt and uncle Frances and Joe Fisher. Brad moved to Waterloo with his father where he graduate high school in 1970. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1970 and spent most of his time stationed in Thailand. He served until his Honorable Discharge in 1974.
Brad continued his education at ILCC in Emmetsburg, IA. He married Julie Fisher on August 7, 1976 in Emmetsburg, IA. He started working for Eaton Corporation in 1976 until he retired in 2013.
Brad was well known for his amazing sense of humor and kindness. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and staying active. He was always testing his luck with scratch tickets and loved a cold
diet mountain dew. He was an avid Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Iowa Hawkeye fan. He especially liked spending time with his grandkids and family.
Brad passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents, aunt and uncle Frances and Joe (who he knew as mom and dad), grandparents Harley and Irene Braddock, and father and mother-in-law, Al and Betty Fisher.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Julie of Spencer, IA, children, Lindsy Braddock of Lincoln, NE, Mike (Lisa) Braddock of Boone, IA, Ann (Lord) Giddie of Plainfield IL, and Crystal Braddock of Spencer, IA; grandsons (Kaizer, Henri, Bo, Zorious, Ajay, Jezra, and Tucker) one brother, Larry Braddock of Spirit Lake, IA; 2 sisters-in-law, Linda (Dwayne) Miller of Spencer, IA and Sherry Simcox of Spencer, IA; other relatives; and many friends.
