Clement James Clausen

June 17, 1944 — February 24, 2008

Clement James Clausen, the son of Homer and Lucille Brown, was born June 17, 1944 in Spencer, Iowa. He attended grade school at Sacred Heart Elementary School and later graduated from Spencer High School. Clem entered the military and served with the U.S. Army during Viet Nam. On March 25, 1977, he was united in marriage to Jan Maiden. Clem passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2008 following a lingering illness at the age of 63. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and Homer Clausen; a sister, Valerie Ketelsen and two nephews: Tony and Chris Ketelsen. He is survived by one son, Adam and his wife, Jenny and his two grandchildren: Brady and Katelyn who reside in Milford, Iowa; a sister, Barb Liebentritt and her husband, Art of Columbus, NE, a sister, Kathy and her husband, Tom VanOrsow of Fort Dodge, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Ted Ketelsen of Spirit Lake, Iowa; an uncle, Arlan Clausen of Spencer, Iowa; his longtime companion, Karen Rutchik of Mesa, AZ; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, March 7, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford, Iowa.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.

Riverside Cemetery Spencer, Iowa 11:30 P.M., Friday, March 7, 2008 Military services will be conducted by Glen Pedersen Post #1 - American Legion of Spencer, Iowa.
