Clifford Edwin Warren

June 10, 1933 — August 30, 2013

Clifford Edwin Warren, the son of LeRoy Chester and Gladys May Ferguson Warren, was born June 10, 1933 on a farm in Spencer. Cliff received his early education from country schools around Ruthven and Dickens. He entered the United States Army in 1951 serving during the Korean War until his honorable discharge in 1955. On October 30, 1958, Cliff married Betty King in Jackson, MN. Following their marriage, they made their home in Spencer where Cliff worked at United Home Improvement, for area farmers and Harris Tree Service. In his spare time, Cliff enjoyed fishing, polka music, crocheting blanks he made for his grandchildren and building tool sheds. Most of all, Cliff looked forward to seeing his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cliff passed away on August 30, 2013 at Northshire Residence in Spencer at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter in infancy; two brothers Donald and Raymond and one sister, Myrtle Lau. He is survived by his wife, Betty of Spencer; his children: Rex Warren of Ruthven, Diana Williamson of Spencer, David Warren of Missoula, MT, Donna Warren (Dale Mumford) of Sheldon, IA and Dolores Schneider (Charlie) of Spencer; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two brothers: James of Sioux City, IA and Dean of Minneapolis, MN; one sister, Alice (Jim) Larson of Spencer; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Warner Chapel in Spencer.
