Clinton Lee Stough

October 30, 1931 — April 30, 2015

Clinton Lee Stough, the son of James and Ethel (Greenwood) Stough, was born on October 30, 1931 in Jackson, MN. He was raised and grew up on a farm near Petersburg, MN, where he received his early education. Clinton graduated from high school in Jackson, MN in 1950. Following high school, he was an apprentice, doing masonry work before going into the military. After his time in the service, he attended Masonry school in Storm Lake. Clinton married Darlene Hage on January 25, 1958 at Long Lake Church of rural St. James, MN. He was a masonry worker for many years with Spencer Construction and C.I Hersom. He also worked at Eaton's for 10 years before retiring in 1996. His work took him out of town a lot, but he was very involved in the life of his family. He was quick to go on picnics, bike outings or other family activities. He also loved to work in his flower garden. On July 22, 2013, he became a resident of Community Memorial Health in Hartley, IA until his passing. Clinton passed away on April 30, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Ellen Marie Stough and a sister-in-law, Shirley Stough. Clinton is survived by his wife, Darlene; his son, Terry (Sharon) Stough and their son, Kyle, of Hayward, CA; his daughter, Carmajo (Jay) Betz and their children, Alex and Shelby, of Spencer, IA; his sister, Shirley (Arthur) Matasovsky; two brothers: Roger (Joyce) Stough and Arthur 'Ike' (Norma) Stough; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 15, 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer. Military Services will be conducted by the American Legion - Glen Pedersen Post #1, following the memorial service.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 - 8:00P.M., Sunday eve. at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
MUSIC
INTERMENT
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established by the family.
