Cody Amos Connor, the son of Richard Skow and Karen LeClair Connor, was born June 12, 1988 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Spencer and several other communities in Iowa, where he received his education. He graduated from Akron-Westfield High School in 2007, where he was involved in football and wrestling.
After his schooling, he moved to LeMars, Iowa, where he worked for Wells Blue Bunny. He later moved back to Spencer, where he worked night security at the Clay County Fairgrounds. Cody loved horses, hunting, taking care of his dogs and most of all spending time with his little girl.
Cody passed away on October 12, 2016 at the age of 28. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest & Edna Skow; his maternal grandfather, Larry LeClair; his maternal great grandfather; his stepdad, Kelly Ross; three uncles, Jerry Quee, Bill Clark and Jack Marchand and two great uncles: Raymond and Dale Hollander.
He is survived by his daughter, Adelynn Connor of Spencer; his mother, Karen Ross of Spencer; two brothers: Keith Riordan of Spencer and T.J. Connor of Spencer; his grandmother, June Miller; his grandfather, Richard Miller of Spencer; his great grandmother, Betty Hollander of Spencer; his stepsister, Tori (Cody) Cammann; a special friend, Kacey Cooper of Spencer; several nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
