Connie Eileene Butler

April 24, 1951 — August 26, 2008

Connie Eileene Butler, the daughter of Herbert Butler, Sr. and Shirley Marble was born on April 24, 1951 in Spencer, Iowa. She was raised and received her early education in Spencer graduating from Spencer High School. Following graduation she worked at the processing plant in Hartley for about a year before attending Midwest Coast Transfer, a truck driving school. Connie drove truck for several different companies, Holiday Express, Safeway and Kardell's. She also worked for Ashley Furniture in Arcadia, WI and the Daily Reporter. Connie lived in the communities of Sheldon, Osseo, WI, Waukon, IA and Clermont, FL before coming back and settling in Spencer. Connie enjoyed playing games on the computer, camping, geneology and watching movies. She was also a member of the Little Sioux Breakers CB club. Connie passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the age of 57. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John in 2003 and one nephew. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shannon Butler of Spencer, IA; her son, Alan Brausey of Sioux Falls, SD; 4 grandchildren: Erika, Jessica, Rebbecca and Samantha; one great-grandchild, Liliann Jade; one brother, Herbie Butler of Spencer, IA; two sisters: Fayette Butler of Rock Rapids, IA and Wanda Brausey of Norfolk, NE; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Graveside services will be held at 10:30a.m., Saturday at the Riverside Cemetery in Spencer. Following the Graveside Service the family would like to invite you to a potluck at East Leach Park.

VISITATION
Visitation will begin after 5:00p.m., Friday with the family present from 6:00 - 8:00p.m., Friday eve. at the funeral home.
