Dana Hubbard

October 14, 1985 — February 22, 2016

Dana Hubbard, the son of James and Marsena Stanley Hubbard, was born October 14, 1985 in Storm Lake, Iowa. After graduating from high school in 2004, Dana worked with his father at Hubbard's Cupboards for eight years. He was an excellent trim carpenter. He was in a bicycle accident in July of 2012 which left him with a paralyzed dominant left arm and horrible nerve pain. Dana loved to fish, especially for muskies. Some of his greatest fishing accomplishments are: him and his brother, Thomas catching a 55 in. muskie in 2014, in 2015 a 51 in. muskie that he caught and reeled in while fishing alone with a paralyzed arm, and in 2013 when he caught 5 muskies in 3 hours fishing with his mom. Dana loved his family very much and was surrounded by them daily whether it be hunting and fishing with his dad or brother to playing ping pong with his brother-in-law. He was a great uncle that spent lots of time playing with his nephews and even giving baby Bennett a daily bottle. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, James and Marsena Hubbard of Spencer; his brother, Thomas of Jackson MN; his sister Carshena and James Mammen and his two nephews, Keagen and Bennett Mammen of Spencer.
