Danny Paul "Chipper" Ables, the son of Paul and Josephine (Morris) Ables, was born December 21, 1951 in Elyria, Ohio. His childhood years were spent in the Elyria, Ohio area, where he received his education, graduating in 1971.
Chipper was a trucker all of his adult life and lived in Ohio, Oregon, Arkansas and moved to Spencer in 1991. He had most recently worked for Norgaard Sand and Gravel in Spencer. He loved to ride his Harley, as well as going camping and traveling with his friends. He also loved spending time with his devoted dog, Coco.
Chipper passed away at his home in Spencer on Monday, September 16, 2013 following a hard fought bout with cancer at the age of 61. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Don (Pat) Ables of North Olmsted, Ohio; his beloved dog, Coco; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
A time of fellowship will be held immediately following the services at Weasey's Lounge in Spencer.
