*In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Darcey's name.
Darcey Yvette Webber Lame, the daughter of Keith and Dollene (Kinnetz) Webber was born July 18, 1974 in Spencer, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer area, where she attended school and graduated from Spencer High School in 1993. She received her LPN at Iowa Central Community College in 2001.
Darcey worked for St. Luke’s Lutheran Home, Storm Lake Nursing Home, Hartley Care Center, and Waukee Nursing Facility. She enjoyed watching crime t.v., playing cards, going to the casino, doing hers and others nails, and especially spending time with friends and family.
There wasn’t one person that she didn’t make an everlasting impression on or form a lasting relationship with. Anyone who she met; she would make them part of her little family. Darcey’s mom Dolly, always called her a gypsy with a wild soul, one that you couldn’t forget. That reigns so true. She touched many people’s hearts and lives just by being her.
Darcey passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Mercy One Hospital in Des Moines, IA, at the age of 48. She was preceded in death by her mother, 4 children, Kimberly Fitchett, Desirae Briner, Devon Briner and JJ Lame.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chance Briner of Spencer, IA, Autumn Lame of May City, IA; her father Keith Webber of Spencer, IA; step-mother, Judy Webber; step-father Paul Kinnetz; one step-grandmother, Arlene Noble; 2 sisters, Amanda Kinnetz, and Kassie Webber; one brother, Kris Webber; one aunt, Kella Simonin; other relatives; and many friends.
