David Dale Killmer, the son of George and Cecelia (Asmussen) Killmer was born October 30, 1947 in Hartley, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Moneta, IA area. He attended school in Everly, IA, graduating from Everly High School in 1966.
David married Diane Grimmius on November 20, 1976 in Worthington, MN. He worked for Spencer Foods, Land-O-Lakes, Hartley Packing Plant, and Clay County Regional Event Center. His passion for farming was always an important part of his life.
David enjoyed fishing, word searches, farming, and his dog Buddy. He was well known for his toy collection of tractors, race cars, and semi's.
David passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at his home, at the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Diane; one brother, Gary Killmer; and close family friends, Chris and Connie Binder.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jackie (Adam) Milks of Everly, IA; one sister, Rosemary Thornley of Adel, IA; many nieces and nephews; his dog Buddy; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will take place 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 17, at the Warner Funeral Chapel in Everly.
