David Joe Arnold

    David Joseph Arnold, the son of Bernard and Jeannette (Maurer) Arnold was born January 14, 1936 in Spencer, IA. His childhood years were spent in Sioux City, IA and Wakefield, NE, where he attended school.

     David married Patricia Eaton, they later divorced. He then married Carol Trenary in the summer of 1981 in Storm Lake, IA. David worked various jobs in construction, and then many years at Vileson & Co. Turkey Plant. He enjoyed putting model planes and trucks together. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball and football. He was a true-blue Cleveland Browns and New York Yankees fan.

     David passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Kimberly Arnold; one aunt Maggie Maurer; and his wife Carol.

     Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shayla Arnold of Spencer, IA; one step-son, Christopher Arnold of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Brendan, Beka, Taylor (Miya), and Stephanie (Shawn); 3 great-grandchildren, JJ, Kyree and Rue; 2 brothers, Larry (Marilyn) Arnold of Kansas and Michael (Connie) Arnold of Georgia; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
