Delores Jean Mchugh

January 21, 1932 — June 7, 2011

Delores Jean McHugh, the daughter of Wesley A. and Genevieve (Plaine) Louter, was born January 21, 1932 in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer, where she received her education, graduating from Spencer High School. She worked at several businesses in Spencer including: Carroll's Bakery, Super Valu and the Arcade Caf�, before going to work at the Spencer Theatre. Delores married Delbert McHugh on September 7, 1958 in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, they continued to operate the Spencer Theatre for several years, until their retirement in 1970. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Spencer. She passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the age of 79. Delores was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Del on October 27, 1990. Left to cherish her memory are her three sisters: Helen Louter of Weslaco, TX, Marjorie Guerttman of Spencer and Lillian Meyer of Waukee, IA; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M., Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
