Delores May Meier, the daughter of Herbert and Margaret (Leonard) Graham, was born December 22, 1933 in Logan, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Logan, where she received her education, graduating from Logan High School. While in high school, she was a cheerleader, was a member of the school band, basketball, choir, was a drum majorette and was homecoming queen. After her schooling, she worked as a secretary for an insurance company in Logan and worked in a general store in Auburn, Nebraska. Delores married Lowell Meier on September 15, 1954 in Logan, Iowa. After their marriage, they lived in Maryland, while Lowell was in the Army. They moved to Spencer, Iowa on September 30, 1960, where they made their permanent home and she stayed at home and raised her two children. Delores enjoyed dolls, angels, Jesus, bible studies, birthright, jewelry and clothes. She passed away at Longhouse Residence in Spencer, Iowa following a long illness, on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Bob Graham. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lowell of Spencer; one daughter, Pam Meier of Spencer; one son, Steven Meier and his wife, Kelly of Waterloo, Iowa; one grandson, Juston Meier and a granddaughter, Katie Meier; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Hope Reformed Church in Spencer.
