Dennis Dean Brauer

     Dennis “Denny” Dean Brauer, the son of C. Dean Brauer and Marjorie (Johnson) Brauer, was born on June 22^nd, 1955 in West Des Moines, Iowa. He passed away on December 2^nd, 2022 at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer, Iowa at the age of 67 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Langdon United Methodist Church.

     Denny attended school in Des Moines and graduated from Hoover High School with the class of 1973.

     After graduation, he worked in the restaurant food service industry in West Des Moines. Denny moved to Spencer, Iowa in 2006 and worked at various jobs, including Ag production, manufacturing, wind energy and the restaurant food service business. While here he graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College with a degree in welding. He was united in marriage to Lyndall “Lyn” Cox on February 21^st, 2015.

     He enjoyed camping, amusement parks, working in his garden, working on the yard and playing with our dogs.

     He was preceded in death by his parents C. Dean Brauer and Marjorie Brauer.

     He is survived by his husband Lyn Cox; sister Connie (Al) Wilken; nephew Matt Seymour; great niece Brooke Seymour; along with extended family and friends.
