Devon Keith Briner

Devon's family would like to extend a special thanks to his nurses, Carrie Engelkes and Stacie Huckfelt. Devon Keith Briner, the son of Patrick Briner and Darcey Webber was born on March 24, 2000 in Sioux Falls, SD. Devon lived in Storm Lake until he was 3 and then Darcey and the kids moved to Spencer. On Devon's 3rd birthday, he was able to go to Walt Disney through the Make a Wish Foundation. Devon attended Brenda Miller's class, Children's Garden, for three years at Jefferson Elementary School. Devon loved to spend time with his family. He liked being read to by his brother, Chance. Devon liked listening to music and looking at pictures of horses. He also liked driving on bumpy gravel roads and swimming. Devon passed away on June 15, 2006 at his home at the age of 6. He was preceded in death by his two sisters: Desirae Briner and Kimberly Fitchett; his great-grandmother, Marcella Briner and his great-grandparents, Hannas and Velva Klinker. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Darcey Webber and her fianc�, Ryan Lorenz of Spencer, IA; his father, Patrick Briner of Alta, IA; two brothers, Chance Briner of Spencer, IA and Damien Briner of Alta, IA; his grandparents, Keith and Judy Webber of Hartley, IA, Paul and Dolly Kinnetz of Spencer, IA, and Steve and Paula Briner of Newell, IA; his great-grandparents, Melvin and Norma Delp of Storm Lake, IA and Raymond and Maureen Webber of Ruthven, IA; step great-grandparents, Bob and Arlene Noble of Hartley, IA; four aunts; one uncle; other family and friends.
